How to play 2048 Cupcakes Halloween
Play it just like 2048 Cupcakes. Slide every cupcake one way with the arrow keys, WASD or a swipe. Two matching cupcakes that meet merge into the next one up, and the new tile's value is added to your score. After each move a Candy Corn Cupcake (2), or now and then a Caramel Apple Cupcake (4), appears on a free square. When the board fills up with no matches, the game ends, unless you Undo the last move.
For worked examples of merging and scoring, read how to play 2048 Cupcakes.

The pumpkin cupcake 2048 goal
Fall versions of cupcake 2048 often swap the final tile for a pumpkin cupcake. This edition builds a whole Halloween board around that idea: a deep purple frame, orange and black liners, and a carved jack-o'-lantern sitting on black frosting as the 2048 tile. The ghost, the eyeball and the potion bottle along the way tell you at a glance how far your run has come. All of them are original drawings; read about how 2048 Cupcakes was made.
Halloween cupcake tips
- Choose one corner for your biggest cupcake and never let a small one slip into it.
- Keep the row next to that corner full, so a stray move cannot shift your big tile.
- When a new candy corn lands in a bad spot, Undo is there for one move; use it before the board locks.
